Main Function

To oversee and facilitate all administrative functions for RPS.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Clear understanding of, and commitment to modeling our RPC Staff Values
• Handle and safeguard confidential church information
• Actively attend Sunday worship services
• Attend required staff meetings (1st & 3rd Tuesdays and team meetings)
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Event Coordination 15 hours

• Produces project timelines in Asana for trips and events for the Student Ministry
• Manages the registration and publicity processes for events
• Provides administrative support to the staff member who owns the event

Welcome Team Ministry 9 hours

• Manages the FTV process for SM
• Acts as Welcome Team Ministry contact or Wednesday Programming
• Acts as Welcome Team Ministry contact for Sunday Programming

RPS Weekly 5 hours

• Responds to general inquiries from students and parents
• Attends RPS events and trips as assigned by supervisor
• Oversees and submits creative requests for RPS events
• Participates in weekly RPS meetings
• Oversees volunteer appreciation opportunities
• Assists in planning and executing RPS events
• Keeps notes during weekly Student Ministry staff meetings
• Produces weekly reports for attendance
• TouchPoint trainer for RPS
• Manages SM Volunteer Pipeline

Skills & Attributes

• Basic knowledge of, or ability to learn platforms/media used by RockPointe Church: Bamboo, TouchPoint, eSpace, Nexonia, Asana, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, etc. 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
• Task-oriented mindset
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people compassionately and patiently
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to self-start and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
• Responsiveness and flexibility regarding time-sensitive changes and/or requests
