What are the responsibilities and job description for the Girls Volleyball Coach/Trainer position at Rockline Volleyball Academy?
Deliver volleyball training and practice sessions, to promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship within our youth program. Use positive instructional techniques to improve the abilities of our kids in youth volleyball. Assist in determining fitness, training and drills during practice/ workouts. Apply and enforce discipline during training sessions. Encourage and teach sportsmanship conduct in all phases of athletic participation at all times. Take all necessary precautions to protect our kids, equipment, and facilities by creating a safe overall environment.
Maintain and secure all volleyball equipment. Follow established procedures in the event of an athlete's injury. Always represent our program in a professional manner.
Maintain nondiscriminatory practices in all activities. Attend staff development meetings, practices, games and workouts. Perform any other related duties as assigned including but not limited to setting up equipment for workouts and cleaning up before and after workouts. Part of the cleaning process does include floor sweep, restroom check and miscellaneous trash removal. You will be responsible for building confidence with all kids in our program.
