Machine Operator I Trainee (Night Shift)

Job Title: Machine Operator – Night Shift

Location: Morristown, TN

Company: Iatric Manufacturing Solutions (a subsidiary of Rockline Industries)

Shift: Rotating 3rd Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Schedule: This position requires the candidate's ability to train according to the following schedule:

• Date of hire until May 1 – associates will train on day shift (A or B shift - 7:00am – 7:00pm on a 2-2-3 rotation)
• May 1 – first week of July – associates will train on night shift (D shift – 7:00pm – 7:00am on a 2-2-3 rotation)
• First week of July – associates will move to assigned shift/line on night shift (C shift – 7:00pm – 7:00am on a 2-2-3 rotation)
  
  

Once training is complete, associates will be placed on night shift on a 2-2-3 rotating shift (every other weekend) — only work 3 to 4 days per week!

Position Summary

The Machine Operator position is responsible for ensuring the continuing safe and efficient production process for the Morristown facility, including the set-up, validation and operation of automatic packaging equipment that produces wet wipes.

Essential Accountabilities

• Support the production and packaging of finished goods.
• Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment to get maximum performance and efficiency.
• Ensure the safe and efficient production of a quality product in an FDA-regulated facility. Follow cGMP procedures.
• Utilize JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, and DSI scan guns to safely produce quality products to customer specifications.
• Daily responsibility for performing quality checks, sampling and accurately completing required documentation.

• Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility is part of each associate’s essential accountabilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with computer usage within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail in daily work as well as extensive documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and motivation for continuous learning.

• Ability to stand during 12.5-hours shifts with regular breaks.
