Position Summary

The Machine Operator position is responsible for ensuring the continuing safe and efficient production process for the Morristown facility, including the set-up, validation and operation of automatic packaging equipment that produces wet wipes
Essential Accountabilities
- Support the production and packaging of finished goods.
- Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment to get maximum performance and efficiency
- Ensure the safe and efficient production of a quality product in an FDA-regulated facility
- Utilize JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, and DSI scan guns to safely produce quality products to customer specifications
- Follow cGMP procedures
- Daily responsibility for performing quality checks, sampling and accurately completing required documentation
- Set up and operate a variety of machines

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience with computer usage within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent attention to detail in daily work as well as extensive documentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Motivation for continuous learning
- Ability to openly embrace change
- Ability to stand during 12.5-hours shifts with regular breaks
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 37 pounds
- Repetitive arm/hand movement
- Frequent bending, twisting and reaching
- 100% of work will be performed indoors
- Although the facility is climate-controlled, the temperature will fluctuate slightly with changes in the seasons.
- Hearing protection may be required in designated areas of the facility
