Key Responsibilities
- Assumes duties of Branch Manager during periods of absence or vacation or when the manager is unavailable due to other Credit Union duties;
- Assists in supervising branch personnel by making routine employment decisions, reviewing performance, and making salary recommendations. Assigns work, provides training and guidance and coaches personnel as necessary. Provides leadership and guidance and assists in the resolution of routine personnel problems;
- Provides assistance and member services by processing a variety of transactions, i.e., cashing checks, depositing and/or withdrawing funds from accounts, accepting mortgage and consumer loan payments during peak periods and during periods of teller staff shortages;
- Maintains schedule flexibility with the ability to travel to other branches as needed and work weekend hours per branch needs;
- Assists with monthly audits of teller drawers Conducts periodic audit of vault and cash drawers according to established procedures. Ensures security of all cash and negotiable instruments. Provides assistance to staff by ensuring accuracy of daily proof and compliance of all cash control policies and segregation of duties. Oversees ordering of currency;
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least two (2) years of experience within the financial services industry with previous supervisor/leadership experience.
- Demonstrated sales skills and ability to promote a sales environment.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Positive/professional approach with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment to solve problems.
- Strong proficiency with systems and software packages, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel to other branches as needed.
Work Schedule and Benefits
As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will work a 40-hour full-time schedule Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend shifts required. Work schedule flexibility required.

Salary : $60,500 - $75,625
