KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Candidate must possess professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with school personnel and behaviorally challenged students. Candidate must have the ability to present complex information on behavior, behavior assessment, and the implementation of behavior plans to staff. The ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, manage various student cases and assignments, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team is required. The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form is necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in behavioral sciences, psychology, special education or related field with a strong background and demonstrated success in behavior observation, assessment, and the implementation of behavior plans in classroom settings.
