Job Summary

Provides support to the Physical Education program and faculty through lab setup/breakdown and support of classroom activities. Provides assistance to students with laboratory activities.
Job Duties

Laboratory Duties

• Sets-up and takes down activities as assigned.
• Supports in-class lab instruction.
• Performs removal of equipment and supplies as directed by the supervisor.
• Provides feedback to the faculty on student usage of the supplies and equipment.
• Participates in the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of Physical Education program courses.
• Maintains effective communication with students, faculty, staff, and Department Chair.
• Maintains facilities in a functional, clean, and safe state.

Displays effective time management skills in the performance of all required activities related to the position.

Performs other related duties incidental to the position as deemed necessary by the Department Chair of Science, the Dean, and/or the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Qualifications

Current Associate in Arts or Associate in Science student with at least 30 semester hours or recent AA or AS graduate.

Completion of PED and/or HEA classes with a grade B or better
