Job Summary Responsible for quality assurance of the job program and maintain standards of services aligning with DRC policy and procedures.
Qualifications Requirements
· Must have a bachelor’s degree in the human service field.
· Must have one of combined managerial experience and professional experience working with people with intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities.
· Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is essential.
· Must be able to pass background, OIG, Medicaid, and fingerprint checks.
· Must be CPR and First Aid certified.
· Must be able to work outdoors.
· Must be able to get to work and attend mandatory meetings and training.
· Must have strong Microsoft application experience.
· Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals and staff.
· Must have strong organizational skills.
· Must comply with DRC and Rocking H Ranch policy and procedures.
· Knowledge of developmental disabilities, individual rights, active treatment, and program planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to DRC policy and procedure guidelines.
- Maintain relationships with regional centers, regulatory agencies, and families.
- Assist owner in reviewing and developing policies
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to coordinate services.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Prepare and enforce policies establish a culture of health and safety
- Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the DRC policy and procedure guidelines.
- Support Administrator in conducting training and presentations for new hires, annual training, health and safety matters and accident prevention.
- Coordinate with Management team to manage training schedules.
- Support as needed with Direct Support duties and individual tours.
- Assist Program Manager with individuals’ meetings with service coordinators and/or guardians.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Complete Prioritization of Issues (POI) for external audits.
- Identify trends and patterns for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with management team in reviewing programs and data sheets for all individuals to ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Complete and submit reports on any incidents in proper state portal website and notify all required entities as stated in state policies.
- Review staff reports on the state portal website for final reviews.
- Complete and submit necessary documents onto provided state portal website.
- Staff will support direct support staff as needed.
- Staff will ensure all safety monthly paperwork is completed in a timely manner and turned in i.e., fire drills.
- Staff will lead safety meetings to ensure safety measures are in place.
- Staff will support the individuals at work ensuring their care, welfare, safety, and security by ensuring emergency supplies are in stock and current.
- Staff will provide the level of supervision that is required as listed in their support plans.
- Staff will maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
- Staff must be punctual and have good attendance.
- Staff must be professional, ensure cleanliness, and organize the assigned work area.
- Staff must respect the confidentiality and privacy of all individuals we serve, including the agency.
- Staff must be able to accept direction, supervision, and constructive criticism.
- Staff must be able to work in a team.
- Staff must advocate for the individuals we serve.
- Staff must keep good records, including work hours, absence, safety on the job and concerns.
- Staff will assist administrator completely new employee orientation upon hire and annual training every year thereafter.
- Staff will respect the rights of the individuals, individual’s family, and/or guardian.
- Staff must report any suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or mistreatment of any individuals in accordance with the policy and procedures.
- Staff must abide by the COVID guidelines and policies to ensure the safety of individuals and other team members on property.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
