Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects by performing a range of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of jobs. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Rockin H Construction preforms the following projects: Framing, Siding, Roofing, Landscaping, Excavation, Snow Plowing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools as directed by supervisors.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Follow instructions from foremen and project managers to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site to minimize risks.
- Must be comfortable with heights/ the use of ladders.
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints or construction plans.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others on a team.
- Must be physically fit, capable of performing strenuous tasks for extended periods.
