What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Rockford Specialties?
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Maintain the flow of product coming to the business and leaving the business ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate industrial machines, such as resistance welders, presses, saws, mills, hand benders and other wire forming equipment.
- Keep track of part counts, part quality and other required information on paper forms and in our computer tracking system.
- Prepare product for outsourced processing
- Adhere to Company policies as described in Associate handbook.
- Follow all procedures as they pertain to this position.
- Follow all quality standards and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
