Maintain ice, building, and grounds, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

Perform minor equipment and structural repairs for routine preventative maintenance.

Monitor and conduct frequent routine safety checks on buildings, grounds, and equipment; file safety reports as required.

Operate Zamboni machine to resurface ice and other equipment, including small hand tools.

Sharpen patron and rental skates as needed.

Perform routine cleaning of building, rooms, floors, windows, restrooms, carpets, trash removal, grounds, sidewalks, and trash pick-up.

Conduct the interior and exterior maintenance and upkeep of Sapora Playworld structure.

Ensure all work is conducted safely and timely, adhering to standards of cleanliness and effective equipment utilization.

Treat public complaints or concerns with utmost attention, providing quality customer service to all patrons, guests, and other District employees.

Become thoroughly familiar with the Safety Manual contents and maintain a working knowledge of all general and departmental-specific safety rules.

Immediately report all accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

Utilize the Rockford Park District's HRIS system for all HR and payroll-related requirements and to accurately clock in and out for all shifts.

Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Must be able to fit and crawl within the structure of Sapora Playworld

Sapora Playworld Harness Training (offered once hired)

Position may be required to work up to 25 hours per week. Hours will vary between weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Must be a team player.

Ability to work with the public in a courteous manner.

Must have good and proven communication skills.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid Training (can be obtained through the Rockford Park District).
