CNC Lathe Machinist 1st Shift

Job Description:

The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings from a variety of customers and be able to intelligently turn those drawings into models with the correct modifications for producing semi-finished parts. As well as help design necessary fixturing, help develop tooling, and generally ensure the manufacturability of parts. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Prepare job(s) for work order by arranging by due date.
• Conduct required PM's for machine department.
• Courteous Interactions and collaboration with teammates.
• Time management skills with a focus on meeting production requirements.
• Demonstrates a strong desire to learn and grow in position.
• Performing and directing assigned cross-training duties as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:

· STRONG Attention to detail

· 3-5 years experience on CNC Lathe

· Experience with Programming and Set Ups

· Ability to read and operate inspection gages and equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, and Comparator)

· Ability to read and write G code

· Experience with macro programming a plus
