Weekend Call Specialist - Rockford Center/Dover Behavioral Health

Rockford Center and Dover Behavioral Health are seeking a reliable and compassionate Call Specialist to support our weekend operations. This role is vital in ensuring timely and professional communication with patients, families, and referral sources during critical hours.

This opportunity has a Saturday and Sunday schedule, 2 twelve-hour shift options: 7am-7:30pm or 7pm to 7:30am!

Travel: Required – Up to 50% between Newark and Dover, DE locations

Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland.

Position Summary:

In this rewarding roll you will assess and evaluate the needs of individuals in crisis and appropriately triage based on information gathered to the most appropriate service to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Answer and triage incoming calls with empathy and accuracy
• Assist with patient intake and referral coordination
• Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative teams
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
• Travel between Newark and Dover locations as needed (approx. 50%)

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors in Social Work, Counselling, Behavioral Science, Human Services.
• Proficiency in operation of computer programs
• Ability to handle crisis calls is essential.
