Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Community Liaison based in Newark, DE. The Community Liaison will actively engage with community members and organizations to build and maintain relationships that support the center's mission. Responsibilities include coordinating and implementing community outreach initiatives, representing the organization at events, fostering collaborations with local stakeholders, and serving as a resource for information regarding available services. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring effective communication between Rockford Center, its partners, and the community at large are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Community Engagement and Community Outreach to build and sustain collaborative relationships with diverse community members and organizations.
- Exceptional Communication and Customer Service skills to provide meaningful interactions and timely responses to stakeholders.
- Experience or familiarity with Home Care practices and strategies related to community health and well-being.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks effectively in an in-person environment.
- Preferred qualifications include previous experience in healthcare, social work, or behavioral health, as well as knowledge of the Newark, DE community.
