Overview
We are currently seeking a Deburring Technician to join our busy manufacturing floor. If you have a steady hand and exceptional attention to detail, this is the perfect role for you. In this position, you will finish machined parts to ensure the quality and functionality of components used across aerospace industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined metal and plastic parts using a variety of hand tools (files, scrapers, knives), rotary tools, and automated equipment.
- Inspect finished parts under magnification or microscope to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, work instructions, and documentation to determine deburring requirements for each component.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with quality control and machining departments to identify and resolve issues related to part finish and quality.
- Document completed work and inspection results accurately using internal tracking systems.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to use various deburring tools and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
- Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed, precise work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
