What are the responsibilities and job description for the CASHIER position at Rockets Convenience Plus (Loogootee Marathon)?
Responsibilities:
-COME JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM. LOOGOOTEE MARATHON IS LOOKING FOR A FRIENDLY,
ENERGETIC CASHIER TO JOIN OUR SOLID TEAM. THIS OPENING WILL BE 8A-4P SAT AND SUNDAY AND ONE WEEKDAY. THERE MAY BE MORE OPPORTUNITY FOR ANOTHER DAY AS WELL.
- Greet customers and provide quick, friendly, service
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Organizational skills to maintain an orderly checkout area
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate transaction processing
