About The Role
- Provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction to the Audio Visual Events team
- Provide formal and informal feedback for development in regular performance conversations
- Work with leadership, vendors, stakeholders and internal and external clients to identify event requirements, scope and objectives and to provide recommendations for best practices
- Monitor and track assigned event project progress and proactively handle any issues
- Review and approve vendor proposals and invoices for payment within budget
- Administer full lifecycle AV production from concept through revisions and final execution
- Use technical expertise to assist in creating effective messages or branding initiatives
- Coordinate with technicians on matters of equipment maintenance for video monitors, cameras, lighting, sound boards, microphones and associated AV items
- Work with producers and directors on the design, installation and positioning of sets and props
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in a live production environment
- Thorough knowledge of all audio visual (AV) event production subject matter
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in Keynote
- 6 years of experience in a live production environment
- 1 year of experience in leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in audio production, music production, broadcast & digital journalism, broadcast communications or a related field
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
