Do you enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and helping customers protect their homes? Rocket Pest Control is hiring a Wildlife Technician to join our growing team! This role is hands-on and involves inspecting properties, installing traps, and using proven methods to safely remove and prevent wildlife intrusions.
You’ll work closely with customers to design effective solutions and ensure their homes remain pest- and wildlife-free.
Your Responsibilities
- Inspect homes and properties for wildlife activity.
- Install and monitor traps, apply exclusion techniques (caulking, sealing gaps, insulation).
- Safely remove and relocate wildlife in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Communicate with customers before, during, and after service.
- Maintain accurate service records and schedules.
- Use ladders (up to 40 ft), work in attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops.
- Maintain company vehicle and tools in good condition.
- Participate in ongoing training and development.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license; must be 21 .
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climb, crawl, kneel).
- Comfortable working on ladders up to 40 ft.
- Pass a 7-year criminal background check, substance abuse test, and motor vehicle report.
- Must be able to work Saturdays.
- Strong communication skills and basic math ability.
