About the role Work closely with our product and engineering team Build robust backend systems Provide smart, quick, and innovative experiences for our end users About you Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience developing production-ready web applications Strong understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript Extensive experience building web APIs with Node.js Proficiency in SQL databases such as Postgres Experience with test-driven development, including unit and end-to-end testing Excellent communication and collaboration skills Comfort in a fast-paced and cross-functional startup environment Eagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work Experience utilizing AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar. You enjoy using AI to boost productivity, improve code quality, or streamline development workflows. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows Experience integrating generative AI functionality into an application, and/or developing AI chatbots Experience building integrations into sources of people data such as HRIS systems, identity systems, or collaboration systems Experience with Elasticsearch Knowledge of React, React Router, and component libraries like Material UI Experience building mobile apps with React Native About us At Sift, we believe people are the most valuable asset of any great organization.
