The Director position is a full time job.

Rocket Club Hoboken offers two after-school programs:

• Rocket Club Math: Engaging, hands-on math classes that build strong problem-solving skills, confidence, and a genuine love of math.

• Rocket Club Academy: Two-hour classes where children explore robotics, coding, entrepreneurship, economics, emerging technology, and other real-world topics before applying what they learn through hands-on STEM projects.

We are looking for a Director to manage the Hoboken location and lead both programs.

The Role

As Director, you will:

• Teach engaging Math and Academy classes

• Prepare and deliver Rocket Club’s established curriculum

• Manage instructors, schedules, and daily location operations

• Build strong relationships with children and parents

• Respond to family inquiries and maintain accurate member records

• Lead tours and trial classes and help convert prospective families

• Drive enrollment, retention, and community growth

• Maintain a safe, organized, and exciting learning environment

Who We’re Looking For

You are charismatic, dependable, organized, and genuinely love working with children. You can confidently teach math and technical material, lead a team, communicate warmly with families, and take ownership of a growing educational program.

Ideal candidates have:

• Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, or leading children

• Strong math skills and experience with STEM or technology

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Confidence speaking with and selling to prospective families

• The organization and reliability to manage a location independently

SALARY

$55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
