Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care through appropriate techniques like carpet cleaning, polishing, and buffing to preserve flooring quality
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms and common areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests’ needs promptly and courteously
- Manage custodial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in good working condition
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Experience with laundry operations including washing, folding, and organizing linens
- Hotel experience or housekeeping management background is a plus but not required
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards consistently
