Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat products according to established specifications and safety guidelines
- Package meat products efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and presentation for retail or food service use
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Stock shelves or display cases with prepared meat products, rotating stock as needed to maintain quality
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meat cutting techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
