We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual's goals and challenges.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions utilizing applied behavior analysis techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across settings and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient care, intake forms, and HIPAA-compliant records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Educate families on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and intervention techniques to support ongoing development outside of sessions.
Experience
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification with relevant experience in behavioral health.
- Proven experience working with children or adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy methods, and special education practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA regulations.
- Experience conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans based on data collection.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities across diverse settings while demonstrating patience and compassion.
- Prior experience documenting medical records accurately and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
