What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN (Surgical Services) position at Rockcastle Hospital?
Rockcastle Regional Hospital is currently seeking a full-time RN for our Surgery Department. Ideal candidate must possess an outstanding record of service excellence, patient centered care, attendance, flexibility, and team performance; demonstrate proficiency in all practical nursing procedures, maintaining good relationships and effective communication with all customers, nursing and healthcare team members, medical staff, patients and families, as well as exhibit performance consistent with the nursing department and organization regarding quality, work habits, and clinical practice. Duties include pre, intra, and post op care including circulating duties and recovery room nursing; must be competent with the use of pertinent therapeutic devices and OR equipment; willing to gain competency with administration of conscious sedation. Schedule is day-shift Monday thru Friday with call required.
