What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Extern position at Rockcastle Hospital?
Rockcastle Regional is currently taking applications for our Nurse Extern program. The program is an eight week, temporary, paid position for nursing students who are one year (or less) away from graduation. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs those functions not requiring expert nursing skill or judgement; includes patient care, reporting patient attitudes, conditions or unusual circumstances to nurse in charge, maintaining equipment and patient units. Rockcastle Regional Nurse Extern program follow guidelines as recommended by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
