What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Supervisor- EOW position at Rockaway Care Center?
Rockaway Care Center is seeking an experienced part time Dietary Supervisor for every other weekend to join our team! This position is 7:00am- 7:00pm. Experience in healthcare a must!
Responsibilities:
- Plans, assigns & inspects the work of Food Service Staff
- Schedules and assigns staff as needed
- Supervises the storage & care of food and supplies
- Oversees the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, & dining areas, and equipment
- Checks residents trays for consistency with specified menu and works on tray line at meal times
- Assists cooks with production of meals for service, as required
- Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events
Requirements:
- Prior Supervisor experience in SNF
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work as a team member
