We're Hiring! Shift Supervisor – Residential Services Department
Location: Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc.
Department: Residential Services
Type: Full-Time | Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:
As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a vital leadership role in coordinating daily operations, ensuring program compliance, and supervising and supporting staff. Working closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and Deputy Director, you’ll help maintain a professional, safe, and supportive environment for our clients and team.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Supervise Program Support Specialists (PSS) and ensure 24/7 staffing coverage
✅ Lead staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations
✅ Maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines (SOW, DOC Contract, CBRF)
✅ Oversee resident programming, safety checks, and accurate documentation
✅ Respond to incidents and serve in the on-call rotation
✅ Support strong community and internal communications
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Criminal Justice or Human Services preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to lead, train, and support a diverse team
Ability to work independently and maintain clear documentation
Must be able to pass federal and state background checks
Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Successfully complete pre-employment physical, TB test, and drug screening
Complete CPR and required CBRF trainings within 90 days (all training paid for by the agency!)
