- Teach Criminal Justice courses, which includes developing and delivering lectures, assessing student learning and other related instructional duties and responsibilities.

- Be available to meet with the Dean, Academic Chairs, Faculty and Staff on an ongoing basis to provide timely and accurate updates regarding programmatic developments.
- Collaborate with the Early College Department as it relates to dual credit programming.
- Document weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual job-related activities.
- Compose reports and other documents for knowledge management purposes and for internal/external dissemination.
- Assist with program rebranding through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the Dean in developing and monitoring the program budget.
- Serve as an instructor for Criminal Justice assigned courses, which includes developing and delivering lectures, assessing student learning and other related instructional duties and responsibilities.
- Complete ongoing internal and external trainings for teaching online, in person and in a hybrid setting using the college’s learning management system.
- Document and monitor student academic progress and milestones for all students enrolled in the Criminal Justice Program or taking Criminal Justice (related) courses.
- Coordinate internship placements and affiliation agreements.
- Actively engage students (mail, 1:1 meetings, small group/large group, webinars and classroom virtually and in person) on a continuous basis to aid with institutional aid/grant/scholarship opportunities, credit for prior learning, course registration, and serve as a student support resource/advocate/mentor to help students access internal/external supports and professional development opportunities.
- Effectively utilize Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc.) and other applications used for effective communication and documentation purposes.
- Participate in professional development opportunities related to criminal justice.
- Actively recruit students into the Criminal Justice program.
- Develop and host information sessions, personal/professional/academic development opportunities.
- Actively recruit and assist with retention of students through participation in outreach events, community partnerships opportunities, orientation sessions and other institutional programming.
- Stay abreast of developments in the Criminal Justice field.
- Regular attendance is expected; some evening and weekend hours may be required.
- Local, state and out-of-state travel for meetings and professional development opportunities is required.

Job Summary: The Arts & Social Sciences Division is seeking a Criminal Justice Coordinator. The coordinator will collaborate with the divisional dean, faculty, staff, internal and external stakeholders in the ongoing development and continuous review of the Criminal Justice program to ensure alignment with discipline specific professional standards, along with state and federal laws. The Criminal Justice Coordinator will play a significant role in engaging internal and external stakeholders while working with the dean, the academic chair, faculty and staff. The Criminal Justice Coordinator will be expected to manage the day-to-day functions of the Criminal Justice program with emphasis on special program elements to ensure effective delivery of project/program objectives and deliverables. The Criminal Justice Coordinator will also serve as an instructor during the fall, spring, winterim and/or summer semester and will be expected to teach up to 15 credit hours in an academic year. The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the minimum qualifications and possess professional experience in the Criminal Justice field or a related field. The ideal candidate must be able to complete essential duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must also possess a deep understanding and commitment to ensuring that the institutional pillars (Access, Education, Training and Culture) are appropriately reflected in the Criminal Justice Program.
