Position: Die Cutting Operator
Location: 6207 Material Ave., STE 4, Loves Park, IL 61111
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $24 – $26 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (overtime as needed)
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate modern flatbed die cutting machines to meet production specifications and quality standards
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain efficiency and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
- Work closely with production teams to ensure workflow efficiency
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating die cutting machines in a manufacturing or packaging environment (required)
- Proven experience with machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability
- Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
- Experience with BOBST 102 or BOBST 106 presses preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive motion
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
