Rock The House has delivered audiovisual and lighting installations for hospitality and entertainment environments for many years as part of our broader live events business. As demand has grown and projects have become more complex, we are intentionally building Installation & Integration as its own dedicated department.The Senior Project Manager, Installations is a hands-on, technical, client-facing leader responsible for designing, guiding, and delivering high-quality AV and lighting installations. This role blends system design, integration oversight, and project ownership, ensuring installations are thoughtfully designed, properly integrated, and executed to a high standard.This is not a sales role, but it is client-facing. The role requires comfort walking job sites, designing systems, communicating clearly with clients and construction partners, and leading projects from discovery through system handoff.Technical Design & Integration (Primary Focus):Lead system design and integration for hospitality and entertainment installationsDesign, review, and guide AV, lighting, control, networking, and infrastructure systemsPreserve system intent and operational workflows from concept through commissioningProvide technical direction during installation and resolve complex challengesOversee commissioning, testing, tuning, and final system performanceQ-SYS experience strongly preferredClient-Facing Leadership:Serve as the primary technical point of contact during discovery, site walks, and installationTranslate technical designs into clear, confident client communicationBuild trust with venue owners, hospitality operators, and development partnersLead system handoff, training, and final walkthroughsProject, Financial & Team Ownership:Own installation projects from kickoff through closeoutManage job-level budgets, labor planning, and margin performanceReview scopes, pricing, and change orders in partnership with business developmentCoordinate with GCs, architects, IT teams, vendors, and installation partnersEstablish practical standards for quality, documentation, and safetyIdeal Background:Experience delivering AV and lighting installations in hospitality, entertainment, theater, or live production environmentsStrong understanding of lighting-focused AV systemsComfortable operating within commercial construction projectsTechnically fluent and client-confidentExperience with Q-SYS and modern AV control ecosystems preferredCompensation & Growth;Base salary: $72,000$80,000Performance-based bonus tied to project success, quality, and profitabilityClear growth path as the Installation & Integration department scalesWhy This Role Matters:This role is foundational to building a scalable, high-quality installation and integration business within Rock The Housewhile preserving the performance mindset and design intent that comes from live production.
