Job Title: CDL Truck Driver - Home Daily Routes
Skills: Class A or B CDL. Must be able to drive 13-16 speed manual transmission truck
Location: Lorton, VA and surrounding local delivery area

Primary Responsibilities:
As a CDL Truck Driver at Rock Stone, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Communicating and interacting with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner, ensuring accurate and timely responses to inquiries.
- Functioning as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.
- Conducting all required safety checks (pre/post trip), including inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Reporting safety issues and required repairs promptly.
- Following all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Inspecting trailers for properly loaded and secured freight.
- Performing count checks of items and checking customer invoices for accuracy.
- Safely driving to deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route delivery schedule.
- Unloading products from the trailer and transporting items to designated customer storage areas.
- Conducting damage control checks on items and reporting any issues according to company policy.
- Verifying delivery with customers and obtaining proper signatures.
- Ensuring the security of the tractor, trailer, and freight.
- Unloading damaged goods and customer returns, completing necessary paperwork.
- Performing general housekeeping duties in the tractor and keeping trailers clean.
- Securing all equipment and completing necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- 12 months of commercial driving experience.
- Valid CDL required; note that all our trucks are manual, and CDLs with automatic restrictions (E Restriction) are not eligible.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- 1 years of experience
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Pass road test.
- Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card and/or be able to secure a new DOT Health Card.
