COMPANY DESCRIPTION
ROCK PAPER is a boutique creative and experiential agency working with some of today’s most exciting brands, including Netflix, H&M, DreamWorks and more. We create large-scale brand activations and immersive experiences that drive excitement, loyalty and brand-love.
OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a junior to mid-level Graphic Designer to support our team on a freelance, as-needed basis, with potential to grow into a longer term role. This is a remote role with flexibility on working hours.
Freelance hourly rate ranges from $35-$65/hour based on experience.

- Jump into a wide range of design needs, from invites and signage to photo backdrops and immersive spatial graphics (digital & print)
- Collaborate with 3D designers to develop large-scale environmental graphics
- Create layouts, textures, and vector artwork for digital and physical applications
- Format and design clean, visually compelling decks and presentations
Print & Production
- Prepare print-ready mechanicals and update production files
- Work from and help manage print lists
- Support (and potentially communicate with) print vendors to ensure accuracy
- Travel onsite for site visits and installations as needed
Collaboration & Process
- Keep files and assets organized with clear naming and packaging conventions
- Balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Take feedback with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and collaborate closely with producers and project managers
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Comfort with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- A creative eye and strong sense of layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling
- Willingness to learn and grow - openness to feedback is key
- Nice to have: experience in print production, event/retail design, large-format graphics, or pop-up/shop windows
- Contractor must provide their own equipment and software
WHY THIS ROLE
This is a unique opportunity for graphic designers who want to see their work come to life in real-world, large-scale applications. Instead of staying purely digital, you’ll get to translate design into immersive, spatial experiences and environments. We are open to training the right person, so curiosity and a willingness to learn matter just as much as technical skills.
