The Custodian is responsible for keeping all areas clean, safe, and well-maintained. This includes cleaning rehearsal rooms, common areas, restrooms, and occasionally assisting with light maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, and understands the importance of a clean and welcoming space for our clients.

OUTCOMES: (What must get done and how will we measure success)
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, lobby, common areas, and rehearsal rooms as needed
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed throughout the facility
- Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
- Restock restroom supplies and studio amenities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Follow studio safety and cleaning protocols, especially for shared equipment
- Maintain a clean working environment at all times and in all areas
CRITICAL
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe usage
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Frequent moving and lifting equipment 30-40 lbs.
- Frequent walking throughout campus but may remain stationary for long periods of time
- Frequent use of manual dexterity to handle cleaning equipment
- Ability to reach, grasp, walk, bend, crouch or stand for extended periods
- A passion for live entertainment or music is a plus
- Strong ability to work with people and form relationships
- Open to continuous learning in a dynamic environment, willingness to pivot as business needs shift
- Ability to remain calm in difficult and/or complex situations and maintain an action oriented, problem-solving mindset
