Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff and ensuring smooth shift transitions
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food presentation to maintain high-quality standards
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Control inventory levels through accurate stock monitoring, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Train and develop team members on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures
- Supervise kitchen activities, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety protocols
- Support budgeting efforts by managing labor costs, sales targets, and operational expenses
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurants, casual dining, or fine dining environments
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a strong background in team management and staff training
- Hands-on knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and reporting
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food production management
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory roles within the food industry are highly desirable
