Summary Job Description
This position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.
Essential Duties
- Uses various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture
- Builds pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly
- Must be able to read and follow production tickets
- Must be able to line, spot match, 4-way line, tuft.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Being able to nail and trim, a plus
- Ability to upholster leather and fabric furniture a plus
- Previous upholstery experience a plus

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; rarely up to 75 lbs.
