What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Cost Analyst position at Rock House Farms (RHF)?
Position Summary
Responsible for costing new product introductions and annual product line costing review. Partners with merchandising, product engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance and IT teams.
Essential Duties
- Product Costing
- New product costing (cost rollup, analysis & presentation)
- Annual product line costing (existing skus)
- Assist in costing related SAP master data maintenance
- Other
- Cost saving initiatives (product & processes)
- Ad hoc reports/analysis
- Projects as needed
Position Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in product development/engineering, cost accounting or equivalent experience working in a production environment, preferably furniture
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required, advanced skills preferred
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to details
- Customer first (external and internal) mentality
