What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead - Cut Wood position at Rock House Farms (RHF)?
Summary:
This position is responsible for managing day to day activities such as production schedules, tool requirements, and troubleshooting any operator issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for the quality and production of employees in the designated work area.
- Verifies that employees have the appropriate tools for the job.
- Trains other Machine Operators on how to set up and operate a variety of variety of wood working machines like a bandsaw, hand shaper and boring machine.
- Assist and troubleshoots any operator issues.
- Must be able to set-up and operate all wood working machines in the machine area.
- Required to use a tape measure to verify measurements on the wood.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Required to have 5 years experience running various woodworking machines for frame parts
