What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance/ Floater position at Rock Hill School District 3?
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma required; at least 5 years of work experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures
Ability to perform manual work requiring some physical strength and agility
Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated with little supervision
Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade
Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred; heating/air, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory background report
Salary Range: Maintenance
Length of Contract: 12 months/8 hours per day
Starting Date: Determined by Human Resources
