New Hope’s Education Department has an immediate opening for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher. Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction to students, managing the classroom environment, and completing required documentation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Developing lesson plans
* Providing instruction
* Maintaining a safe and productive classroom environment
* Adhering to the daily schedule
* Enforcing classroom rules and procedures
* Managing classroom materials
* Accurately completing required documentation including attendance, behavior
data, learning plans, grades, etc.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
*High School Diploma or GED
*Effective organizational skills
*Professional communication and interpersonal communication skills
*Ability to follow oral and written directions
* Work effectively with students, teachers, and staff
* Basic technology proficiency including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
