Join our electrical team as an apprentice/helper. Will train, provide tools, and hands on experience to get hours for becoming a certified electrician. Responsibilities
Assist electrician in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites and residential homes. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setups. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as conduit installation, wiring, and fixture mounting. Support the testing of electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters and other testing equipment to ensure system integrity. Help with the installation of low voltage systems, including communication lines and security wiring. Participate in site safety procedures, including hazard identification and proper use of personal protective equipment. Contribute to maintaining organized work areas, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework or related training is a plus. Previous experience with industrial or commercial electrical work is advantageous but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and basic electrical concepts. Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems and safety standards such as NEC regulations. Ability to work on customer sites in various environments while adhering to safety protocols. Treat the customers home as your own always. Basic understanding of different voltage systems is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
