What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Technologist - Full-Time position at Rock Health?
Role Overview: The Ultrasound Technologist operates sonography and X-ray equipment (if certified) to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a safe manner.
Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging, assist with patient care activities such as vital signs, EKGs, wound care, and orthopedic splinting. Ensure clinical skills, quality assurance, and competencies are maintained under supervision. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicate effectively, and adhere to organizational policies and values.
Qualifications & Skills: Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program, associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and national certification (ARDMS or equivalent). BLS certification required. Preferred qualifications include radiologic technologist registration and ≥1 year of sonography experience.
Key Duties: Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensure quality and safety standards, support patient care activities, and maintain professional standards within the clinical team.
Additional Info: This is a per diem/on-call role with variable shifts. Compensation includes a base pay range, with potential additional incentives. Offers comprehensive benefits supporting professional growth and well-being.
