Responsibilities include physical assessments, forensic evidence collection, documentation, patient education, crisis intervention, and coordinating with law enforcement and advocacy groups. Must ensure patient privacy and confidentiality, and may serve as legal witness.

Qualifications
- Completion of IAFN-accredited SANE A course with Illinois clinical component
- Current Illinois RN license
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree, emergency or women’s health experience, ≥1 year SANE RN experience
