Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Medical/Surgical

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Med/Surg is responsible for delivering safe, age-appropriate patient care on a 40-bed cardiac telemetry unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bedside assessments, hourly rounding, and patient education.
• Collaborate during daily multidisciplinary rounds with physicians, case managers, social workers, and pharmacy staff.
• Administer treatments such as IV insertions, phlebotomy, and aquapheresis.
• Support autonomous nursing practice with a focus on communication and teamwork.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s degree or Nursing Diploma.
• Less than 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current Maryland RN license and AHA CPR certification.
• Knowledge of specialized cardiac care required.
