Role: Radiology Technologist, an Allied Health Professional responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations on patients of all ages.
Key Duties: Operating various imaging modalities, assessing patient condition, preparing examination rooms, maintaining equipment and supplies, documenting patient data, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images. Technologists also serve as clinical instructors for students and participate in departmental performance improvement. Call duty may be required to meet departmental needs.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with an associate degree or equivalent, or graduating soon. Must be registered with ARRT or eligible, with registration obtained within 1 year. BLS CPR certification and SCRQSA license are required. Preferred experience in radiology is advantageous.
Skills: Proficiency with imaging equipment including portable, c-arm, tomography, fluoroscopy, and general radiography. Strong patient care skills, ability to position patients accurately, and maintain diagnostic image quality are essential.
