Role & Responsibilities: Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to promote patient rehabilitation, maximizing function and independence. Provides care across all age groups, demonstrating sensitivity to physical, emotional, and sociopsychological needs. Conducts evaluations, selects appropriate assessments, and establishes goals in collaboration with patients. Maintains accurate documentation, ensures a safe environment, and adheres to safety standards. Mentors PTAs, students, and volunteers, participates in program development, and manages productivity. Delivers therapy in various clinical settings, with potential travel between locations.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires a degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate), current state license, and CPR certification. Knowledge of physical medicine theories and strong communication skills are essential. Physical ability to perform treatments and handle equipment is necessary.
Additional Details: Involves inpatient and outpatient care, with flexible scheduling, including one weekend shift and holiday rotation. Offers professional development opportunities, mentorship, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
