The Phlebotomist II is responsible for safely and accurately collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients, adhering to established lab policies and practices.

Additional duties include specimen processing, maintaining inventory, dispatch scheduling, and EPIC registration, requiring patient contact.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a phlebotomy program, and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience.

Skills needed are knowledge of venipuncture techniques, excellent customer service, strong troubleshooting, and proficiency with lab equipment and computer systems.

Candidates should demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, ability to handle diverse patient populations, and good keyboarding skills.

This role focuses on providing quality patient care and supporting laboratory operations to ensure accurate results.
