- Administering medications, injections, and basic nursing care according to the Nurse Practice Act
- Evaluating and treating juveniles, maintaining medical records
- Providing health education to juveniles and staff on health issues and disease prevention
- Interviewing juveniles to obtain health information and offering counseling
- Working in a 24/7 facility, potentially on rotating shifts
- Licensed as an LPN in Idaho or a compact state
- Willingness to work in a juvenile correction setting
- Meet federal PREA standards
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to educate and counsel juveniles and staff
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
