The Clinical Dietitian screens patients for nutritional risk, responds to consults, and provides medical nutrition therapy to support disease prevention and management in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Requires a Master�s degree or a grandfathered bachelor�s degree in an accredited dietetics program and successful completion of a supervised practice program.
- Must be eligible for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and obtain NYS certification within one year.
- Preferred experience includes clinical work in acute care. Certifications like RD or oncology nutrition are advantageous.
