What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Sales Representative position at Rock Haven Retrievers?
Rock Haven Retrievers is an ethical dog breeding program specializing in Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers. We are looking for a part-time customer service/sales representative to be the friendly, trustworthy point of contact for our puppy families. Ideal hours are from 1pm-5pm Monday-Friday.
This role is ideal for someone who loves dogs, enjoys working with people, and operates with high integrity.
Responsibilities:
-Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and text in a timely & professional manner
-Educate potential clients about us, our process, and expectations
-Qualify inquiries and assist with matching families to available or upcoming puppies
-Maintain accurate records of communications, deposits, and client information
-Schedule calls, visits, and puppy go home appointments
-Represent Rock Haven with honestly, warmth, and professionalism
- Help care for the dogs and puppies
Qualifications:
- Genuine love for dogs and comfort discussing dog care and ownership. Must be comfortable working with our dogs and puppies.
- High level of integrity
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Basic computer skills (email, Google sheets)
- Must be proficient at typing and have proper grammar.
- Able to take pictures and videos for social media. Must be familiar with posting on Instagram and Facebook.
Schedule & Location:
- Part time hours
- Based in Quarryville, PA (in-person)
Compensations:
-$20/hour
