We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at our fitness facilities in Astoria . This is a key holder position responsible for opening the club at 5:00 AM. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Open the club promptly at 5:00 AM and ensure all opening procedures are completed.
- Greet members and guests warmly, check them in, and provide assistance as needed.
- Answer questions about membership options, services, programs, and promotions.
- Handle member inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and follow proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist with stocking retail and front desk supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide information on fitness classes, schedules, and amenities.
- Collaborate with management and staff to ensure an excellent member experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on member satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience in retail sales, customer service, or fitness environments is beneficial.
- Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling and transactions.
